Copy

Web Copywriting

Both internet users and search engines want quality content. Informative, well-structured, search engine friendly text promotes high web positioning, more traffic, and more clients.

After analyzing your goals, we create content that informs, educates, entertains, and stimulates perspective clients to bookmark your site. Thanks to our diverse experience in content writing, we can handle projects of all sizes, type and budget.

We will work with you to develop and resource a content development plan (CDP) for populating your website with relevant and effective content. You reap what you sow and work put into this phase of your website development will pay dividends many times over down the line.

As part of the website CDP our search engine consultant will advise on the proposed meta data (title tags, page descriptions and keywords). These keywords represent the most likely entries typed into search engines by your target audience to find your product or service offering online. These keywords will be incorporated into the site content (and code) and forms part of what is known as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), which is a key part in generating qualified traffic.

Stock

Stock Photography

By utilising stock photography, clients can save time, hassle, money and remain within their budget. In most cases, stock photography is much less expensive than hiring a photographer. Stock databases contain a wide variety of images which simplify the task of finding what you need and in addition, we can often download the image the same day.

In many cases, images from stock libraries are of better quality than those shot on assignment, due in part to rigorous photoshop editing procedures. Tight deadlines become easier to manage since you don't have to set-up, find a location, hire models and arrange a photo shoot. One great advantage of using stock imagery from the outset is that by looking at the initial images presented in the first stage visuals, clients have a good feel for what will work on their website at an early stage.

Stock imagery is quite often the only real quick solution to finding historic, unusual or archive imagery on any subject matter, be it action, wildlife, a location or event that is sometimes impossible to replicate. We have a keen eye for what stock images will work for your project and provide an excellent, professional end result.site.

Back Up

Managed Back-Up Service

The Managed Back-Up Service (MBS) is where we download your site from the web server to an external RAID drive on either a monthly, weekly or daily basis - depending on your requirements.

MBS
We take a back-up of your website and burn it to disk and then take this off-site to be stored in a guaranteed fire-proof data safe. Alternatively, on request, we can post the disc to you for your safe keeping (however the source files would be encrypted for security reasons and this would incur an additional cost. The cost would depend upon the complexity of your website).

In addition to off-site storage your website is also backed-up to secure multiple locations on Warren Creative's internal servers and externally at Rackspace. You will also benefit from our Sub Version History (SVN) which means that when whenever you make any changes to your site (or we were to make any changes) then these updates would be captured securely and given a version identification reference. We then have the ability to roll back to the previous version of your website if required to do so. This is a great insurance policy and peace of mind in the event that you inadvertently delete something in the CMS by mistake.

MBS is like having a restore point of your website should there be any such complications with the web server or access to the web server.

MBS includes backing-up the following:

• CMS
• Page Content
• Orders
• Images and Thumb Images
• Local Newsfeeds
• User Information
• Products
• Management of Orders
• Documents
• Database (MySQL or Access if applicable)

There are no set-up fees, no software fees, we include free upgrades and offer a fixed monthly price with no long term contracts.
Cost: £14.95 per month (equivalent to 49 pence per day)

MBS Plus+
The same benefits as MBS but back-ups are performed on a weekly basis and this service is suited to businesses with frequent critical data changes or high usage where mistakes or errors in the use of the CMS may be too time intensive and costly to
replicate if greater than a week.
Cost: £19.95 per week (equivalent to £2.84 per day)

MBS Ultimate
The same benefits as MBS and MBS Plus+ but back-ups are performed on a DAILY basis and this service is suited to ecommerce businesses with high levels of orders on a daily basis.
Cost: £24.95 per week (equivalent to £3.55 per day)

MBS Email
It is also possible to back-up your emails on a monthly basis and this will include all emails, attachments and mailboxes (all your email addresses) but this would not include any settings that have been applied (i.e. aliases, forwarding and passwords). Email back-ups would be put onto disk so in the event of user error, disc error or email problems we would then be able to restore your mailbox to the last back-up version. Passwords would then need to be reset.
Cost: £14.95 per month(equivalent to 49 pence per day)

MBS Email Plus+
The same benefits as MBS Email but back-ups are performed on a weekly basis.
Cost: £24.95 per month (equivalent to 82 pence per day)

All MBS fees are payable monthly in advance, all prices quoted ex. VAT. Minimum term of one (1) year for first year and thereafter 30 days written notice is required to cancel this service.

URL Re-write

A URL Re-write (or ISAPI re-write: Internet Server Application Programming Interface) replaces the page index reference number showing within your browser window, as it is much more search engine friendly to rename each page according to the subject matter for that particular page displayed.

For example, for Content Managed Solution (CMS) sites to work they normally pass a numeric value through the URL to get a record from a database to display to the end user.

For example:
www.companyname.com/index.asp?pageid=54

With a URL Re-write installed this can be defined and used like this:
www.companyname.com/yoursubjectmatter/54/yourtitle.html

Landing Pages

Landing Pages

Warren Creative can create a landing page (or pages) created specifically as an extension to an online advertisement for users to click through to and get more information on the advertisement. The landing page is also used as a customised page to measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign based on a click-through rate.

There are 2 types of a landing page - Reference or Transactional.

Reference Landing Page
A reference landing page is one that presents information relevant to the visitor. The page would provide information to the user through text and images but would not have any 'transactional activity' on the page. The information provided on such a page would be to add on more to the advertisement so the user had more to read about.

A variation of the 'reference landing page' is to produce an 'AIDA Landing Page' (Awareness, Interest, Desire and Action) and is non-transactional in nature. The prime focus is on lead generation, interaction with the visitor and getting a response usually by including a 'Contact Form' or 'Reply Form'.

Transactional Landing Page
This is a page to entice the visitor to take some action (ie. to fill out a form or to buy a product). A visitor taking such action on the site is called a conversion. You can monitor the conversion rate (via your web stats) of the landing page, and in turn to continuously keep looking for ways on improving the conversion rate by changing the look of the page, the display of information, the information fields captured through the form, etc.

A landing page is a very effective way of monitoring the effectiveness of a marketing campaign. Most of the time, we think that while advertising, bringing the user to the homepage of the website would suffice. This is not true. When enticed by an advertisement, the user wants to read about more details of the advertisement, or read more about the promotion, event, etc. Hence bringing the user to the landing page is the ideal thing to do.

How much does SEO cost?
The work we do and the SEO techniques we apply are bespoke to each website and as such the degree of SEO work required will naturally vary too. To keep life simple we ask for an initial 4 hours SEO work and thereafter we work and charge by the hour. The amount of time and regularity is dependant upon your budget and requirements.

Remember, even if we spend just 1 hour per month you are improving your website - doing nothing will achieve exactly that - nothing!

Initial 4 hour SEO work: £280.00
SEO work undertaken thereafter (per hour): £70.00

We provide you with an email report of what SEO work we have done for you to review.

Google Analytics
How popular is your website?
Where do your customers come from?
How can you increase sales?

The answer is to use Google Analytics...

Google Analytics is the most widely used website statistics service, currently in use at around 57% of the 10,000 most popular websites.

What is Google Analytics?
Google Analytics provides valuable information about your website traffic and marketing effectiveness. Powerful, flexible and easy-to-use features let you view and analyse your web data so you're more prepared to write better-targeted ads, strengthen your marketing initiatives and create higher conversions online. Poor performing pages can be identified using techniques such as funnel visualisation, where visitors came from (referrers), how long they stayed and their geographical position.

Google Analytics can track visitors from all referrers, including search engines, display ads, pay-per-click networks, email marketing and digital collateral such as links within PDF documents. Integrated with AdWords, users can review online campaigns by tracking landing page quality and conversions (goals). Goals might include sales, lead generation, viewing a specific page, or downloading a particular file.

Get information on key statistics such as:

• Number of visits?
• Number of Page views
• When do users visit my site?
• The Site usage
• Bounce Rate
• Number of pages visited
• How many New Visitors?
• What Countries do your Visitors come from?
• Traffic Sources Overview
• Content Overview
• Compare to Past Results
• How is your site performing Daily and Hourly?
• Time spent on each Page?
• % Exit Rate

Setting up Google Analytics
Firstly, we set you up with a Google Mail Account - you will use this to login (password protected) to view your reports. We will also send you a Quick Guide to Google Analytics document to help you get started with this excellent statistics tool.

We add your profile to Google Analytics and insert the code provided from Google into your website which will record and display results within Google Analytics. We then also add a XML Site Map of your website to Google to monitor your sites performance - this becomes valuable if we perform regular Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tasks on your behalf (details of our SEO services available on request).

How much does it cost?
A one-off payment of £70.00.
Google Analytics fee payable in advance, price ex.VAT.
